Fabreasy PDFixer License Terms

Last updated: June 2026

By downloading, installing, activating or using PDFixer, you agree to the following license terms.

  1. License

PDFixer is licensed, not sold.

A valid license grants the user the right to install and use PDFixer on the number of devices specified during purchase. Unless explicitly stated otherwise during purchase, a standard license is valid for one Windows PC at a time.

Licenses may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, rented, redistributed or transferred without written permission from Fabreasy.

Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, bypass license mechanisms or redistribute PDFixer without written permission from Fabreasy.

  1. Three Year License Term

Unless explicitly stated otherwise during purchase, a PDFixer license is valid for a period of three years from the original purchase date.

During the active license period, the user may use PDFixer in accordance with these terms.

After the three year license period has expired, continued use of licensed functionality may require renewal or the purchase of a new license.

A PDFixer license does not grant lifetime access to the software, future versions, successor products, online services or activation infrastructure.

  1. Software Updates

A valid PDFixer license includes free software updates for three years from the original purchase date.

These updates may include bug fixes, improvements, compatibility updates or new functionality at the discretion of Fabreasy.

Free updates apply only to PDFixer updates released during the active three year license period.

Fabreasy may discontinue the software, specific features, integrations, update support or online services at any time.

Future major versions, successor products or substantially new functionality may require a separate purchase, even during or after the active license period.

While we aim to maintain compatibility with supported Windows versions, we do not guarantee continued compatibility with future operating systems, Windows updates, drivers, printer components, antivirus software or third party dependencies outside our control.

Fabreasy does not guarantee permanent availability of activation services, update servers or online licensing infrastructure.

  1. No Warranty

PDFixer is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Fabreasy does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error free functionality, compatibility with all systems or suitability for any specific purpose.

The user remains responsible for verifying the correctness of generated or modified PDF documents before use, storage or distribution.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fabreasy shall not be liable for:

• indirect damages
• consequential damages
• loss of data
• business interruption
• loss of revenue
• loss of profits
• corrupted documents or files
• compliance related damages
• damages caused by Windows updates
• damages caused by antivirus software
• damages caused by printer drivers or third party software

In all cases, the total liability of Fabreasy shall be limited to the amount actually paid for the license.

  1. User Responsibility

Users remain fully responsible for maintaining backups of their documents and files.

Fabreasy is not responsible for lost, damaged, inaccessible or incorrectly modified files under any circumstances.

Users are responsible for verifying the output and suitability of generated or modified PDF documents before use or distribution.

  1. Third Party Dependencies

PDFixer may rely on Windows components or third party technologies outside the control of Fabreasy.

Changes made by Microsoft, printer manufacturers, antivirus vendors or other third parties may affect software functionality.

Fabreasy is not obligated to maintain compatibility with discontinued, unsupported or modified external components.

  1. Support

Support is provided on a reasonable effort basis without guaranteed response times.

Fabreasy does not provide mandatory installation assistance, custom development, system administration or on site support unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

  1. Trial Version

The trial version allows use of PDFixer for 14 days.

The trial period is intended to allow users to test whether PDFixer meets their requirements before purchasing a license.

After the trial period expires, opening and viewing PDF files may remain available, but saving edited files or using licensed functionality requires a valid license.

Fabreasy reserves the right to modify, limit or discontinue the trial version at any time.

  1. Refund Policy

PDFixer does not offer a voluntary 30 day money back guarantee.

Users are expected to use the 14 day trial version before purchasing a license, in order to determine whether PDFixer meets their requirements.

Once a license has been purchased, activated or delivered, all sales are final, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory statutory rights that may apply to consumers.

Fabreasy reserves the right to refuse refund requests in cases of abuse, excessive usage, fraudulent activity, repeated refund requests, license sharing, license manipulation or violation of these terms.

  1. Privacy

PDFixer is designed to operate locally on the user’s Windows computer.

Documents are not uploaded to Fabreasy servers unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Users remain responsible for compliance with their own legal, privacy and data protection obligations.

  1. Activation and Licensing

A license may require online activation.

Hardware changes, Windows reinstalls or system modifications may require reactivation.

Fabreasy reserves the right to limit activations, detect abuse or block licenses in cases of suspected fraud, license sharing or manipulation.

  1. Termination

Fabreasy reserves the right to suspend or terminate licenses in cases of abuse, fraud, license manipulation or violation of these terms.

Upon termination, the user must stop using PDFixer and remove all installed copies where applicable.

Termination does not entitle the user to a refund, unless required by applicable law.

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of The Netherlands.

Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of PDFixer shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in The Netherlands.
